These annual Christmas events reach upwards of 10,000+ children. They are invited from orphanages and churches throughout Port-au-Prince. Each child receives a hot meal and gift during the party. For many it is the only gift they receive during the year. The story of Jesus' birth is presented in their native language of Creole. It is told with beautiful hand puppets and volunteers in sheep and donkey costumes.
Grace International was founded in 1974 by Bishop Joel and Doris Jeune. Together they oversee and lead the organization. Grace International impacts lives through the oversight and management of 270 churches, 65 schools, 3 orphanages, a medical clinic, hospital, and home for elderly widows. Shortly after the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 they opened The Lord's Kitchen. It feeds 700 - 1500 children five days a week.
